About Me

Hello I am Helen. I’m a Certified Play Therapist who lives in Sheffield.

Before training to become a Play Therapist, I worked as a Primary School Teacher for more than 20 years.

I know how difficult it can be to understand the way we’re feeling and the emotions we are experiencing, especially if we are going through something difficult or something that is worrying us. As a teacher, I saw first-hand how challenging this could be for children, which is why I chose to become a therapist.

I’m passionate about helping children to work through troubling issues, building resilience, and helping them to feel a better sense of balance in their lives. As play and the arts is a child’s natural language, what better way to communicate than through play?
